Encouraging supernatural miracle faith in all of Jesus Christ's believers is this blog's purpose.

Hebrews 4:16 (AMP) - Let us fearlessly, confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may humbly receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate and well-timed miracles, coming just when we need them].

I believe that God wants all of His and His Son's believers to become faithful and bold enough and yet humble enough to effectively appeal to and obtain from Him
(in Jesus name) all of the miraculous healings and / or other kinds of miracles that they desire for themselves and for others! I further believe that if God in His sovereignty elects to not give us our requested miracle it is ONLY because He is preparing for us something better than we can think of to ask of Him.

1 Kings 3:5 - God said, “Now ask what you wish for Me to give you.”

Most Christians do not really believe that God will give them a miracle if they ask Him for one, even though there are a number of verses that tell us that He will give them to us. Neither did I for a long period of time. But now I believe that the Lord has taught me that I was totally wrong in not often requesting healings and other kinds of miracles from Him because when He gives them to us, this glorifies both Him and His glorious son, the Lord Jesus Christ!

John 14:13Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

So as a result, I now believe that the Biblical spiritual exercise I am advocating with verses and commentary below will teach all Christians just how to bring forth from God many miracles or even better things than they ask for. Since God never gives us less than we ask of Him, amazing miracles or even better things coming forth will glorify God, will bless those who receive them and will also overcome the unbelief of others. I believe that healings and miracles will move people who receive them or see them to cry out for the salvation of their souls through our glorious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!

Mark 9:24 - The sick boy’s father cried out, “I do believe: help my unbelief"
John 4:48 - Jesus therefore said, “Unless you see miracles you simply will not believe.”
I believe that any person who wishes to obtain a miraculous healing or any other kind of a miracle from the God of the Bible, must first start by believing that the following 4 things are true....

1. God actually does exist. Although He is invisible and undetectable to all of our senses except for our minds, through personal belief in His words within our minds and hearts, He proves to each of us that He actually does exist.
2. Just for humbly yet boldly asking Him for and believing His word for a healing or some other kind of a miracle, that is the MINIMUM that He will end up granting us. He will never give us less than we ask of Him.
3. Jesus is God the Father's only begotten Son and we will get our particular miracle request and / or better things than that from the Father God, only when we honor Him by invoking His Son Jesus's name as we humbly ask Him for your particular healing or miracle.
4. We must be humble before God and doing nothing nor be consciously harboring any motives of which He does not approve because such things will hinder our prayer request for a healing or a miracle from even reaching Him.

IT IS THAT SIMPLE! THERE REALLY IS NOT THAT MUCH TO IT!

HOW CAN I BE SO CONFIDENT OF THIS CONTENTION? READ ON....

I am so confident because in all humility I firmly believe that....

1. it is impossible for our good God of the Bible to lie to us since His very nature is truth.
2. whenever we are in right standing with Him, He delights in giving us any good thing that we ask from Him but more usually in giving us even better things than we can think of to ask from Him.
3. He not only delights in giving us good things but He goes so far as to promise to give us any good thing that we humbly ask from Him and / or to give us even better things than we can think of to ask from Him!
4. He will NEVER GIVE US LESS than the healing and / or miracle that we have humbly asked from Him.
5. He will never withhold any good thing from us when we are in right standing with Him

AFTER YOU HAVE READ AND PONDERED ALL OF THE SCRIPTURES AND THE COMMENTARY WRITTEN BELOW, AND MY TESTIMONY PAGE THAT IS LINKED IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THIS HOME PAGE, COME BACK HERE TO REREAD THE ABOVE AND SERIOUSLY CONSIDER IT.

THEN, IF YOU REACH THE CONCLUSION THAT WHAT I HAVE SAID HERE ABOUT OBTAINING A HEALING OR A MIRACLE FROM GOD IS TRUE, HUMBLY MAKE YOUR REQUEST FOR A HEALING OR A MIRACLE KNOWN UNTO GOD AND YOU WILL SEE FOR YOURSELF IF I AM CORRECT!!!
________________________________________________________________________

In order for me to convince you of the above contentions and to help you gain faith in them, I believe that God would have me build a Scriptural case about them for you. So let me do that by starting with the following verse....

Hebrews 11:1 Amplified Bible (AMP)

But without FAITH it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to God. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

This is our first proof text of my contentions about obtaining miracles by faith from the God of the Biblical Scriptures. Here we are told how absolutely necessary a belief in the Bible God's existence is, in order to be rewarded by Him with anything at all. Now it certainly makes sense for us to be required by Him to believe in His existence before we can obtain any miraculous rewards from Him, does it not?

But what exactly is this faith of His existence that we must have? Let's see how God defines what faith is inthe Bible because all dictionary definitions of the word faith differ greatly from the Bible's definition of it and therefore they are totally unreliable for obtaining miracles from God.

Hebrews 11:1 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of the things [we] do not yet see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not yet revealed to the senses].
Here in our second Biblical proof text, we are told by God exactly what this faith thing is that He requires us to have. Here God defines faith to us. Here He says that our faith now IS (not was or not will be - NOW IS) an actual confirming thing in this world of what we are hoping for Him to give us in the unseen future. Just the very fact that we can mentally believe something is faith and that it is an existing substance of, and a spiritual evidence of, our asked for but as yet unseen hope for thing to eventually be manifested in this world! So that belief, that faith, is actually a substance in this world of our mental / spiritual hope for a healing or miracle to eventually be manifested by God here in this world. This verse also informs us that in the spirit world, our faith is now our title deed before God and His angels to that particular healing or miracle that we are hoping that God will eventually manifest to us in this world!
Our faith is actually a this-world-substance and a this-world-evidence, as well as a spirit-world-title-deed to our hoped for thing to eventually and actually become a manifested reality in this world! So with God showing us in this verse how faith is to be so concrete for us in this world mentally and also spiritually in the spirit world, this is why we must not let doubt or fear creep into our hearts.
James 1:6 - 8 - In asking (anything of God)  it must be done in faith, with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the person who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.
For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord, [being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [that he thinks, feels, decides].
This passage tells us that doubt and fear are evil "things" (not at all good) in God's sight since they are just the opposite of steady faith. So by harboring either one or both of these evil "things" we automatically negate our faith "thing"  and that keeps us from obtaining the hoped for healing or miracle that God promises to only give to those of us who remain resolutely faithful to His promises!

James 4:2....You do not have because you do not ask.

Now we will find that whenever we try to stand in faith, asking God for a miracle, the devil will assail us in our minds with doubts and fears of all kinds. So, we should not be surprised by this but instead we should learn to just shrug them off and not let them enter into our hearts wherein God has designed for us to believe "things" (good or evil).

1 Peter 4:
12 - Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you....

The assault upon your mind of fear and doubt in opposition to your faith is not to be considered as a strange thing when you are making a faith stand for a particular miracle because it is the normal turn of events from Satan and his minions in their efforts to stop it. Thus, it is a quite normal thing to happen because God uses Satan's forces to fire darts of fear and doubt into your hearts to test your faith. However, as you stand firmly against Satan by quickly casting all doubts and fears out of your mind and reaffirming your belief in God to accomplish your miracle and as you just keep on believing God's promise for your miracle, he will eventually leave off of such attacks as he sees that they are of no avail against you.

Ephesians 6:16....Taking up the shield of faith....ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
James 4:7 - ....Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

I believe (and have experienced for myself) that we do not need to lose our requested miracle if we mentally pick up a brief fear and / or doubt about it, as long as we discard such thoughts quickly as we become aware of them and then humbly reaffirm our belief in God's promise for our miracle. Remember, fleeting thoughts of fear and / or doubt are not heart felt beliefs so don't let the devil convince you that because he has been able to plant them into your mind for a moment, you have lost your requested miracle. The doubt or fear must go on from your mind into becoming a heart belief in order for you to lose your requested miracle.

Mark 11:23 -Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.

This verse twice brings out the idea that a faith confession must not only be thought of and heartfelt but it must also be spoken. At the end of this discourse, I will give you a powerful faith confession to believe and to speak that will help you to not entertain any doubts whatsoever in your mind about eventually receiving the healing or miracle you are praying for from God. This spoken faith confession for miracles is what I believe that God wants me to build a Scriptural case for, so bear with me a little longer as I put all of the pertinent verses in place for you so that your faith will be strengthened into rock solidity.

Now the following is one of the key verses that you must believe in order to obtain your miracle from God. This is the first of 2 key passages that between them, will assure you that God will minimally give you your miracle.

Mark 11:24Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.

This is a verse that most Christians run away from when they first read it (and sometimes every time they read it). Why? Because it seems to say that God is going to give us anything that we ask of Him and that just cannot possibly be true, now can it? Most Christians, upon reading this verse will deny its applicability to them by reciting a litany of  reasons why God will not give us anything that we ask of Him. Their list will include selfish things, greedy things, evil things, lustful things, etc., etc., etc. and of course they are right because the Bible tell us that they are right.

James 4:3 -You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it (what you ask for) on your pleasures.

They also say that our requests of God for "all things" that are not in those obviously evil categories, may still not be God's will for us. Therefore, on the basis of questionableness, they marginalize Mark 11:24. However, Jesus tells us that whenever we are humbly in right standing with Him, the Father wants to give us our requests for good things because through them manifesting, He is glorified!

John 15:7 - If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit....

John 15:16 -
“You didn't choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, He gives you.
So as Jesus tells us in these 2 verses, it is God's will to give us whatever good miracles we may wish to humbly request from Him. And yet, for anyone who has stood in humble but sincere faith upon any of these verses for a particular miracle, whenit has not manifested, they will usually end up thinking that the failure must be in their wrong interpretation of these verses, since God cannot lie

This is where a careful reading of Mark 11:24 and of these verses, as well as the addition of the 2nd key passage on this subject, comes in. So let me start back with Mark 11:24 - Therefore I say to you, "all things..." Now the word "thing" (God did not give us a Biblical definition of the word "thing" as He did for the word "faith"), as defined in the dictionary, means ....

thing - a noun

: an object whose name is not known or stated
: an object, animal, quality, etc., of any kind
: a particular event, occurrence, or situation

So, if you think about this definition for a bit, it pretty well covers every "thing" imaginable, does it not? Hold that thought and let's go on and see more of Mark 11:24 - Therefore I say unto you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them.... Believe that you have received them means what? Believe that they have manifested here on earth? No, these words can not mean that because Jesus goes on to say ....and they will be granted to you.... implying that the granting of them is a second step after believing that you have received them. So believing that you have received them must refer to believing that spiritually you have already received them from God or that in the spirit world you have already received them from God, but they have not yet manifested here on earth.

Finishing Mark 11:24
we read, ....and they will be granted to you. What does this mean, they will be granted to you? Does it mean that they will be manifested here and now on earth right after we believe for them in the spirit world? In some cases I believe that this is exactly what these words mean and those are the cases when, under the sovereignty of God, He deems for a miracle to occur immediately! Praise God! There are myriads of testimonies of these kinds of immediately manifested miracles occurring to substantiate this interpretation of "....will be granted to you." But they do not always occur, now do they? So, if these words are totally truthful, they must have an additional meaning, right?

We'll get to that answer soon but before we go there let me tell you of a time when I put the notion of an immediate manifestation to the test. I wasn't testing God Himself, I was only trying to learn if His power that He has invested in this verse included immediate manifestations of requested things.

Luke 1:37Amplified Bible (AMP) - For with God....no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.

I was just trying to learn of God's power that is present in the words of Mark 11:24 because Jesus told men learned in the Scriptures that thy erred because they really did not know their Scriptures since they did not know the power that God has invested in them.

Matthew 22:29Amplified Bible (AMP) -  But Jesus replied to them, "You are wrong because you know neither the Scriptures nor God’s power!

So I closed my eyes and asked God in prayer to manifest a very large amount of money right in front of me on my dining room table right then and there so that I could immediately give it to missionaries for His work! I sincerely felt that my motives were right in asking Him for this miracle since I did not want any of the money for myself.

Well, the money did not manifest. But, a thought did come into my mind which, to this day I believe was from God, explaining to me why it did not manifest! The thought went something like this, "Hey Jim." "Yes Lord?" "That money that you requested I put directly into the hands of those missionaries you were praying for but I did not bother to put it through you because if I did that, you would have gotten very, very proud and I did not want that to happen to you."

Well needless to say I was chagrined and humbled by that thought because it was deadly accurate as only the words of God can be! I would have definitely gotten proud if that large amount of money had manifested as i requested. And from that thought I learned that God did not need me or anyone else for that matter, to pass out money or to do anything else for Him because He is Almighty and sovereign and He can do it Himself! I learned that it is up to Him not me, as to how He will provide for His servants but He was not rebuking me for asking for it for them. He was only explaining to me why He did not give me exactly the miracle I asked of Him.

This brings us back to Mark 11:24 ....and it shall be granted. In that particular case the money was not granted to me (and it has never been granted to me) but I believe that something better for me and for those missionaries was granted immediately. I believe that they immediately somehow got the money that they needed directly from God's treasury and who knows maybe even more than the sum that I had asked God for. Is that cause for me to complain? Not at all, even though I did not get exactly that which I asked of God.

Ephesians 3:20-21Now unto Him Who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory....

And I was given some wonderful and very much appreciated wisdom about the insidiousness of pride creeping into my own evil heart through my religious endeavors. It ended up giving me great joy to be so spoken to by Jesus so I was not disappointed at all. All things considered, IMHO he gave me much more than I asked Him for and I have no complaint about that even though I did not get exactly what I asked and believed Him for.
Ecclesiastes 2:26- For to a person who is good in His sight He has given wisdom and knowledge and joy....

Before we get to the second key verse in this teaching let me give you 4 important verses about humility.

James 4:6 - ....God gives grace to the humble.

Proverbs 3:34- ....He gives grace to the afflicted.

Numbers 12:3- ....the man Moses was very humble, more than any man who was on the face of the earth.

Deuteronomy 34:10 - 12 There has never been another prophet like Moses, for....at the Lord’s command he performed amazing miracles that have never been equaled.

In these 4 verses we can see how important a person's humility is to God, when it comes to obtaining His grace for the miraculous. He simply will not give a believer the grace for obtaining a healing or a miracle if that believer is not humble before Him! But if the believer humbly makes his request for a healing or a miracle known to God, then I believe that God gives him the grace for it to occur.

This brings us back to the additional meaning of the end of Mark 11:24 "....and it shall be granted to you." Shall be is a phrase that implies a coming event, not necessarily an immediate event. Yet if that is the case what about when we ask for an immediate event? Is that not a "thing" too? I found the answer to those questions hidden away in the 2nd key verse that I mentioned for this teaching. You will need this verse and Mark 11;24 in order to gain complete confidence that God will give you your healing or your miracle or even better things than that. With the following 2nd key verse,  you can reach total confidence that you cannot get less from God than you are in faith in Mark 11:24's words. asking God for.

Hebrews 11:39-40(NASB) - And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised, because God had provided something better for us...!

Now at first reading this seems like a very strange verse to add to Mark 11:24's fantastic promise from God for healings or miracles because it tells us that people who stood up in faith did not get their miracles from God! But as anyone soon learns who has truthfully studied the Bible, all of the pertinent verses on a subject are necessary in order to achieve the correct doctrine about any particular subject. So let me explain in some more testimonies why this particular verse is so important to the doctrine of gaining a healing and / or a miracle from God by faith.

In Hebrews 11, God's Hall of Faith chapter of the Bible, we are told of many godly people of faith. In verse 39 we are told that all of them were approved by God for their faith. Now in this 11th chapter of Hebrews we are told that some of them were delivered by Him from their trials and some of them were not. Some of them received God's promises but others did not. In fact, the chapter ends by telling us that most of these undeniably extremely faithful heroes of God, though approved by Him for having kept their faith in His promises, died without receiving their fulfillment! How can this be? After all, what about the Scripture which unequivocally states....

2 Corinthians 1:20For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are YES; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.

If all of the promises of God are Yes and amen (or done) because of our faith in Him, why did these approved heros of faith die without getting what God had promised to them? That was not a Yes answer for them, now was it?

I believe that the solution to this great mystery is found in Hebrews 11 verses 39 - 40 (quoted above) where it is stated just what the reason is for these faith heroes failure to receive God's promises in this world, even though they were fully approved of by God because of their faith. The implication of these verses is that though God failed to give them His promised things in this world, they would have absolutely no complaint about it because they were taken blissfully into heaven wherein they are now awaiting everyone's fulfillment of all of His promises! God in His sovereignty just plain over-rode their faith requests by exercising His superior will for them which was to take them into heaven without rewarding them here on earth with the fulfillment of His promises to them.

However, I believe that in this verse is hidden the principle that God in His sovereignty, could elect to manifest better answers to any believer's faith prayer requests right here on earth too! After all the Scriptures tell us that we really do not know how to pray as we should so our faith requests are sure to be flawed before God and therefore eligible for His improvements....

Romans 8:26....we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us....

We cannot perceive all that is involved in answering any prayer request that we make to God, so His Holy Spirit has to intercede to improve upon EVERY prayer request that we make of Him! This reminds me of the time when I prayed and asked God for $50 to buy 5 paraphrased Bibles to give to 5 of my friends and I unexpectedly received $52.10 with which I was able to buy 10 paraphrased Bibles that cost me that exact amount of money! I was given more money than I asked and believed for so that with it, I was able to accomplish more than I planned to do. All because the Spirit of God over-rode my request with something better than I could possibly know to request of Him.

Did I complain? No. Was it exactly what I asked and had faith for? No. But within a week of the receipt of this granted money, I had given all 10 of those paraphrased Bibles to 5 more of my friends than I knew needed them. God knew that they needed them but I did not!

So in hindsight it is obvious that I needed the extra $2.10 to do that greater work of God of distributing 10 Bibles, not merely 5. I received more and better than I asked for and believed for but technically speaking, I did not receive exactly what I asked for and believed for. However, because the miracle of this money was of greater overall value than my exact dollar request, no complaint was in order from me. This I believe is the implication of the principle of Hebrews 11:39 - 40 and as you will soon learn, this principle needs to be incorporated into any faith requests for specific miracles which are based upon faith in Mark 11:24!

Another example of this principle would be if a young man were to ask his earthly father for $300 with which to buy an old beater car and his father responded to him that he could count on him for the car. Then, if that loving father instead went out and surprised him by getting him a brand new Corvette and giving it to him, would he complain? Of course not. Did he get what he asked for from his father? No! But because the Corvette was so much better than the beater car that he had hoped and asked for, he could have no complaint whatsoever. Better things than were requested, implies that there can be no complaint about them!

Now take this same concept to a hypothetical situation wherein we are in right standing with God under the righteousness of Jesus and we have faithfully prayed for and believed for the manifestation of a healing of a sick loved one. But instead, after we had stood humbly but firmly in faith on Mark 11:24 for that loved one's healing, he or she died! This would appear to be a failure of Mark 11:24's promise but it is not because that love one's death is actually is a better "thing" than what was asked for!

I believe that the ONLY REASON for such a thing to happen after a prayer of faith has been made to God for that loved one's healing, is because God is doing something better for that loved one and for all who are involved, by taking him or her in death. This understanding allows us to accept and even rejoice over the death of a loved one as being a better outcome than we had prayed for and it takes us to a new level of trust and faith in God as actually being the good God that He is, does it not?

Psalm 84:11....No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

I believe that in such a case, if our prayer of faith could have healed that loved one, he or she would have been healed - period! But when that faith prayer did not bring forth a miraculous healing and that loved one died, it is ONLY because that person’s death is for the betterment of every believer involved when viewed from an eternal perspective!

Romans 8:28And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

So that brings us to a confession of faith for a specific healing or miracle that can absolutely and confidently be spoken! I believe that such a confession must include words that say something like this....

I believe that God is going to give me "this specific healing or miracle" AND /OR He is going to give me "something better than this specific healing or miracle" for which I have asked Him! I am confident that He cannot and will not ever give me less than this specific healing or miracle for which I have asked Him if, in His sovereign wisdom, He decides to not give me exactly the specific healing or miracle for which I have asked Him!

This faith confession will not in any way negate your particular miracle request with God because you are stating that you are believing for it but at the same time you are leaving room for Him, in His sovereignty over you, to grant you something better than you could think of to ask Him for. Such a confession only expands your request by recognizing His sovereignty from which He exercises His immensely superior wisdom and His will to improve upon your request.

Jesus totally understood and expressed this concept when He prayed to our Father God just before his crucifixion to deliver Him from this coming terrible ordeal.....

Matthew 26:39Amplified Bible (AMP) Jesus threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if be possible, let this cup pass away from Me; NEVERTHELESS, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and as You desire.

Notice that even Jesus said that He wanted God the Father's sovereignty to over-ride His own prayer request because He knew that God's will for Him eternally would never turn out to be less than the temporal relief that He was asking for Himself from God!

Like Jesus, should the miracle you ask for from God fail to immediately come to pass, the word that He used here: NEVERTHELESS will reassure you that He is at work in the spirit world to eventually give you something better but never less than your faith prayer request! With that understanding, you can easily accept whatever happens when nothing seems to happen after your prayer request. This is actually His way of informing you that though He did not give you your requested healing or your requested miracle as you asked for it, eventually better things will come to you. This also is just as Jesus accepted His no answer from the Father God, and went on into his terrible trial looking forward to the better things that were coming in the future.

John 18:11Therefore, Jesus said to Peter, "....The cup which My Father has given Me, shall I not drink it?"

Hebrews 12:2 - ....Jesus,the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and Who is now sitting at the right hand of the throne of God.

To complete the description of this concept I feel that it would be good for believer's to imagine just what all happens when we send a faith prayer up to God's heavenly throne. Let's start with an imagination of exactly what happens at the throne of God when our prayer arrives.....

Daniel 10:12-14 (MSG) - ...the angel said , ‘....from the moment you decided to humble yourself to receive understanding, your prayer was heard, and I was sent to you....and now I’m here to help you....’

Here we are told that from the moment we humbly pray to God, an immediate response from Him is generated from His throne of Grace and Power! He hears us immediately and He responds immediately! But when we go on to read all of this particular response from the Almighty, we see that His response is a greater response than Daniel knew how to ask for, so we can infer that to mean that the Holy Spirit intervened to improve upon his request before that order was issued. Romans 8:26 - ....for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us....

In Daniel's case here, the angelic miracle did not actually manifest to him for 3 weeks. Daniel had only prayed for understanding, he did not pray for an angel to show up and give it and much more to him. So that in itself was a better than asked for miracle and we can see here that the granting of this particular better than asked for miracle took 3 weeks to manifest due to spiritual forces which were hard at work trying to hinder it from manifesting to him.

Consequently, we can conclude from this analysis that as soon as God's Spirit hears our faith prayer request for a miracle, He intervenes to improve upon it and then He issues a spiritual order from His throne in heaven, immediately granting us that improvement! So in effect, we pray for one thing and He in His sovereignty grants us a better thing than we can even think of to ask of Him.

Ephesians 3:20-21Now unto Him Who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we can ask or think, according to the power that works in and through us, unto Him be glory....

He never gives us less than the good gifts that we can think of to ask of Him because He is a glorious giver of only those good gifts that glorify Him!

Psalm 84:11....No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Exodus 33:18 - 19 - Moses said, “I pray You Lord, show me Your glory!” And God responded, “I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you....

We may think that we are praying for a good thing but since we know not how to pray as we ought to pray, our prayer for an immediate healing or miracle is not necessarily a request for a good thing! If it was, God would grant it to us because He promises that any actual good thing, He will not withhold from us! So the healing or miracle that we request and that eventually actually manifests here on earth is a good thing, but if it does not manifest eventually here on earth, it is not a good thing! Only God knows what is really good for all involved so in His benevolent sovereignty, He has reserved that discernment to Himself. However, He promises to always give us better than we can ask from Him in replacement of any of our requests that He overrides! So it is a win - win situation for us to request things of Him, even when we suspect that He will probably override our requests with better things than we could think of to ask of Him! We cannot lose when we realize and believe all of this as we make our requests known unto Him!

Now if you believe all of this teaching which I believe that God has had me give to you here, perhaps you would like to read my testimony of the revelation I first received from God of this concept (linked in the top right corner of this home page) and then return to the top of this post to re-evaluate what I wrote there before you pray for your own particular healings and / or miracles. However, if before doing that you would like to read a Biblical example of faith for miracles or something better, please continue below.
________________________________________________________

Romans 4:20-21 - He (Abraham) did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but he was strengthened in his faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised (to do for him) He was also able to perform.

Our faith in God's promises can increase day by day, year by year, decade by decade. The 2 verses quoted above, offer helpful insight into being strengthened in faith regarding God's promises. It is so often the case that the devil will use the circumstances we are in, to cast doubt upon the promises God has made that those circumstances will change. This was certainly what happened to Abraham concerning God's promised son to him, Isaac.

It was merely implied in God's first promise to Abraham that a son would be provided to him one day. "I will make you a great nation" (Genesis 12:2). God did not say when He would do this because He was testing Abraham's faith for this miracle. So the years rolled by but no son arrived. Eventually, a son was specifically included in God's promises. "And behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, 'This one [Eliezer his servant] shall not be your heir, but one who will come forth from your own body shall be your heir'" (Genesis 15:4). Still, the years passed by without the arrival of the promised son. Of course the devil was surely there every day reminding him of how God was letting him down but Abraham kept on believing in God's promise to him anyways.

Romans 4:18 - In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken....

Notice how the verse says that Abraham hoped against hope. He had to keep on pondering his hope for his own son time and time again as Satan time and time again kept trying to knock him off of his faith for the promised son of his own from God. It looked more and more hopeless as Abraham approached one hundred years of age. So God repeated His promise to Him that necessitated that he be given a son.

Genesis 17:1 - 2 - "When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, 'I am Almighty God…I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly …

Genesis 17:7 - And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you'"

More time passes while Abraham keeps on hoping against hope for a son. Once again, the Lord restates His promise to him to give him a son.

Genesis 18:10 - "Sarah your wife shall have a son".

At this point, the Scriptures record the natural impossibility of this promise being fulfilled.

Genesis 18:11 - "Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well-advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing".

But Abraham, after so many promises from God still kept his faith that God would give him a miracle baby.

Romans 4:19 - 20 - Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

Yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God....

Abraham did not waver in unbelief (doubt and fear) at the promise of God, but he was strengthened in his faith by believing the words of God's promises to him. How did he grow strong in faith? His circumstances gave every reason to doubt God's promises, but he stayed focused upon the Almightyness of God who had promised him a son and that reassured him that his miracle baby was on his way.

Romans 4:21 - Abraham was fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.

Now when we look at Abraham we assume that God spoke to Him in some way that his senses or his mind could perceive and therefore that makes him different from us because we only have the promises written in the Bible for our healing or miracles and most of us have not yet so heard from God. But I contend that we are actually just as able to call for and get miracles from God from just reading and believing His words of promise in the Bible that seem to us to apply to us, as was Abraham able to get his miracle baby from those words of promise that fit him.

John 20:29-....blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

But the proof of my contention is in the pudding so to speak, don't you think? So to prove my contention, can you please go to God in prayer and ask Him to take you to the various words of promise from God in the Bible that might apply to your own desire for a specific healing or miracle? If you cannot do that, then you will never achieve miracle faith and you might as well just leave this blog right now. But if you can, then take each of the promises that the Lord makes you aware of and incorporate them into the following faith confession. Then believe it and speak it out loud to God and maybe some other Christians and then watch and wait and see what good things God does for you.

The following are the promise verses from the Bible upon which I am standing for this specific healing or miracle and / or for something better than this specific healing or miracle....

Now list them and / or speak them out.

Please continue on by reading my testimony of how I was given this revelation (on the page linked in the upper right corner of this blog). Then start the blog all over again by reading the beginning of this post and if you can reach agreement with it start making your own faith confessions per the example I just gave you above and watch and see what good things God begins to do for you! Thank you. May God richly bless you and all of yours. Amen.
